HOLT Architects Wins Design Excellence Award for Food Bank of the Southern Tier

The Southern NY Chapter of the American Institute of Architects recently presented HOLT Architects with a Design Excellence Award for the Food Bank of the Southern Tier Addition and Renovation. HOLT’s 13,700 square foot renovation of the Food Bank’s 65,000 square foot facility focused on promoting functionality, creativity, and innovation while remaining fiscally responsible. The industrial aesthetic of the warehouse was honestly expressed through the use of elements such as rough-cut pine that referenced the packaging and shipping containers of fruits and vegetables.
